Local festivals in Abrera

The Sant Pere Festa Major is usually celebrated during the final days of June and culminates on 29 June. Mass at Sant Pere Church is accompanied by the opening address, tronada, correfoc, concerts and family activities across the town's squares, parks and streets.

Popular culture and the festive finale

The traditional street parade brings together Abrera's giants, percussion groups and popular-culture organisations. The giants' dance, sardanes and events led by the Diables Bram de Foc preserve the festival's community character, and it usually ends with fireworks, havaneres and rom cremat.

Other celebrations: neighbourhood festivals

During the summer, neighbourhood associations also organise the main festivals of Sant Miquel, Santa Maria de Vilalba, El Suro, El Rebato and other districts, with communal dinners, music, sport and family events supported by the Town Council.
