The Santísimo Cristo de la Vega fair and festivities, documented since the 17th century, are usually celebrated for seven days from 8 to 14 August. Adolfo Suárez park, Plaza de la Constitución, the auditoriums, Plaza de la Iglesia and the fairground host parades, giants and big-head figures, music, local clubs, cultural activities and the patron's procession, followed by traditional fireworks.

Grape harvest and Virgen de Loreto

Between 31 August and 8 September, Socuéllamos honours the Virgen de Loreto and the grape harvest. The offering of the first must and opening of the must fountain in the chapel gardens are combined with tastings, winery visits, folk culture, grape and wine-tasting competitions, and traditional migas served with grapes. The Brotherhood, growers, wineries, co-operatives, Town Council and families take part in a celebration expressing the town's wine identity.

Other celebrations and traditions: All Saints and Los Mayos

From 1 to 3 November, the All Saints Fair preserves the memory of the former market held after the harvest, with crafts, food, farm implements, rides and cultural activity. At the beginning of May, flower crosses, songs and rounds sustain Los Mayos, a tradition documented since the 15th century and maintained by May singing groups, associations, residents and the Culture Department.
