The patronal festivities honour the Virgen del Rivero and the Santo Cristo de la Buena Dicha. Residents, peñas, families and visitors take part in days combining devotion, music, parades, cultural events, sport and children's activities in the streets and squares of San Esteban de Gormaz.

Other events and cultural life

Carnival features Jueves Lardero, parades, a community meal, a fancy-dress dance and the burning of the Sardina de las Cortes. The Wine Fair, the re-enactment of the 1187 Cortes, the arcaded Romanesque churches, the castle and traditional wine cellars complete the local calendar.
