Grijota's patron saint festivities are usually celebrated as El Señor Sacramentado, held in late June, and Our Lady of the Angels, in September. Plaza Mayor, the Church of Santa Cruz and the Hermitage of the Virgen de los Ángeles connect the popular events with the town's religious tradition.
