Local festivals of Errenteria

Madalenak, the patronal festivities dedicated to Saint Mary Magdalene, are usually held around 22 July. Streets, squares and neighbourhoods across Errenteria host the events, with the opening rocket from the Town Hall marking the symbolic start.

The Festival Commission prepares the celebration with local residents. Exhibitions, theatre, sport, dance, drumming, food and music bring together cultural and sports associations, local groups, residents and visitors over several days.
