Usual celebration
Sant Joan Baptista, the town's patron since its parish was established in 1913, has its main day on 24 June. The festivities usually begin with the opening speech and a sopar a la fresca community supper in Plaça de Sant Joan, followed by a night race, ball de bot folk dancing, theatre, open-air dances, concerts and sport organised by the City Council with local groups and residents.
