The Festes de la Patrona culminate on 2 August, when Pollença's streets and squares host music, dance, religious ceremonies and a historic re-enactment with extensive community participation.
Usual celebration
The main day begins with the Alborada and continues with the Cossiers, high mass, the procession of the old image of the patron and the Moors and Christians Simulacre. The Tedèum, the Goigs, the town band and fireworks complete the day. The Town Council, cultural associations, musical groups, re-enactment participants, residents and visitors contribute to a programme that usually lasts for more than a week.
