Local festivals in Yernes y Tameza
The council's festival calendar brings together celebrations in Yernes, Villabre and the Cuevallagar mountain pass. The Cuevallagar Fair, held in the second half of August, combines a livestock fair, pilgrimage and evening dance at the top of the pass.
Usual celebration
San Antonio is usually celebrated in Yernes in mid-June. In October, the Rosario festivities take place on the first weekend in Yernes and the second in Villabre. The council, livestock farmers and residents participate in these events and in the Cuevallagar Fair at the top of the mountain pass.
Other events
The Cuevallagar pilgrimage and evening dance complete the cultural calendar alongside the San Antonio and Rosario celebrations.
