Local festivals in Lena
The Fiestas de La Flor are usually celebrated over a spring weekend in La Pola and culminate on Monday with the climb to the meadow and La Flor chapel. Puya'l ramu, Mass, an outdoor meal of empanadas and bollos preñaos, cider, bagpipers and dance groups bring together pilgrims, families and associations.
Mercáu Tradicional and Asturian culture
During the same weekend, La Pola's fairground hosts a livestock fair and Mercáu Tradicional. Clog makers, weavers, blacksmiths and other craftspeople demonstrate their trades among Asturian food stalls, theatre performances, folk music and dancing, with the Town Council and the council's cultural groups taking part.
