Local festivals in Lebrija

The Fair and Patron Saint Festivities are usually celebrated over several days in September in honour of Nuestra Señora del Castillo Coronada. The switching-on of the lights opens the celebrations at the fairground, where casetas, horses and family activities accompany the principal service and the patron’s procession from the parish church of Nuestra Señora de la Oliva.

Holy Week

The brotherhoods process through the historic centre along routes that meet at the official procession route. They pass landmarks such as Plaza de España, Corredera and Tetuán and streets near the parish church, with broad participation from brotherhoods, costaleros and bands.

Other celebrations and community

Lebrija’s festive life combines devotion to its patron with fairground culture. The Town Council coordinates services at the site, while the brotherhoods maintain the religious observances and routes that shape the celebrations.
