Valme Fair and Pilgrimage in Dos Hermanas
La Feria de Dos Hermanas It usually takes place from Thursday to Sunday at the Vistazul fairgrounds. Its duration is cuatro días and brings together booths, lighting, horse riding and hitchhiking, music, flamenco and family coexistence. The municipal organisation regulates the ownership of the booths and equestrian participation, and the Delegation of Culture and Festivals, cassette players, associations, riders, families, neighbors and visitors take part in the celebration.
The other major celebration is the Pilgrimage of Our Lady of Valme, held on the third Sunday in October. The procession accompanies the Virgin from Dos Hermanas to the Cuarto hermitage with decorated carts, horse-drawn wagons, riders and pilgrims.
