The patron saint of Coria del Río is Virgin of the Star, whose holiday is celebrated on 8 September. The Fair is the other big event in September: the fairgrounds bring together booths, attractions, concerts and neighbourhood coexistence, while the parish, the urban centre and the Guadalquivir area host religious and cultural events.
