Local festivals in Arahal

The Feria y Fiesta del Verdeo is usually celebrated over several days in the first week of September at the municipal fairground. It marks the table-olive harvest and brings together marquees, fairground rides, music and community gatherings, with the participation of the Town Council, local organisations and the olive-growing sector.

Holy Week

During Holy Week, brotherhoods and confraternities process through churches, squares and central streets, accompanied by bands and musical associations with deep local roots. The cycle ends on Easter Sunday when the risen Christ leaves the San Antonio chapel, followed by mass in Santa María Magdalena and the return procession.

Other celebrations

San Antonio, Arahal's patron saint, is celebrated on 13 June with events at his chapel and a procession through the main streets. The Santa María Magdalena festivities usually occupy several days in July, while choral gatherings, food fairs and cultural activities complete the local calendar.
