Local festivals in Alcalá del Río
The San Gregorio de Osset fair and patronal festivities are usually celebrated for five days in the first half of September. The fairground and town streets host the switching-on of the lights, festival booths, music, horse riding, community gatherings and traditional games such as the greasy pole and fire bulls. The patron's solemn service and procession bring together the brotherhood, parish, Town Council, associations, travelling fair operators and families.
