Feria de Málaga, the feast of Nuestra Señora de la Victoria and Holy Week are three distinct landmarks in the city's festival calendar.
Usual celebration
Feria de Málaga is usually celebrated over eight days in August. It combines the daytime fair in the historic centre with the Real at Cortijo de Torres in the afternoon and evening, where booths, rides, flamenco, copla and verdiales stages, equestrian shows and children's events take place. The City Council coordinates services and events with clubs, associations, performers, hospitality businesses, residents and visitors.
Other events and cultural dates
Málaga Holy Week includes processional routes and a dedicated public-services operation. On 8 September, the patron saint's celebration traditionally brings together Mass, a floral offering and a procession from the cathedral to the Santuario de la Victoria, with the municipal corporation, brotherhoods and residents taking part.
