The San Pedro Fair is usually celebrated in late June, bringing rides, community gatherings, music and cultural and sporting events to the Municipal Park. The Town Council's fair publication also highlights Tosirian history, associations and heritage.
Virgen de Consolación
In September, Torredonjimeno honours its patron, the Santísima Virgen de Consolación. The feast on the 8th includes worship and a procession from Santa María parish church; the pilgrimage then accompanies the image to her sanctuary with people on foot, floats, an ox-drawn cart, horses and carriages.
Other celebrations: San Cosme and San Damián
The patronal festivities of San Cosme and San Damián culminate around 27 September. The novena is shared between Virgen del Olivo Church and San Pedro parish church, while traditional events include the rosary, the patrons' procession and the weighing in wheat.
