Local festivals in Linares
The Real Feria y Fiestas de San Agustín focuses Linares's festive life at the end of August. The Pisar fairground, Caseta Municipal and central streets host fair booths, concerts, parades, family activities and community events associated with the patron saint.
Usual celebration
The fair begins with an opening address and parade, followed by music, children's activities, gatherings for older residents and life in the fair booths. The Town Council, its Festivals Department, associations, municipal services and local groups take part in the organisation. The Virgen de Linarejos adds another important devotional date, while Holy Week is distinguished by its leading bands and local ceremonies such as the Expiración in Calle Marqués.
