Local festivals in Atarfe
Atarfe's patronal festivities honour Santa Ana and bring together the Town Council, associations, families and residents in the streets, Plaza del Ayuntamiento, the fairground, the municipal marquee and the procession route.
Usual celebration
The central day is 26 July. The celebration combines a street parade, opening speech, fair, music, children's activities, flower offering and the solemn Santa Ana procession. The precise duration is set by the municipal programme for each edition.
Other events
The municipality also celebrates San Antón in Caparacena and Virgen del Carmen in Sierra Elvira, as well as Carnival and the May Crosses.
