Local festivals in La Mojonera
The San Pedro Apóstol patronal festivities are usually celebrated over four days in late June. On the patron saint's day, 29 June, San Pedro and the Virgen de Fátima leave the church and follow a procession through the main streets accompanied by residents and music, before a fireworks tribute in Plaza de la Constitución. The fairground and Avenida de Europa, Avenida de España and Avenida de La Joya also host gatherings, performances and fairground attractions.
Festivals in the municipal settlements
La Venta del Viso celebrates its Virgen María festivities over several days on the second weekend in September. El Cosario honours San Antonio de Padua in early June, while associations and residents participate in romerías and community events linked to the different patronal festivities.
Other celebrations: May Crosses, Carnival and San Antón
