La Almería Fair and Festivals in honour of the Virgin of the Sea It usually occupies the second half of August. Its main places are the Vega de Acá Fairgrounds, the Midday Fair in the centre, the Virgen del Mar square, the Sanctuary of Santo Domingo, the Fair concert venue and spaces on the promenade.
