Navacerrada Nativity of Our Lady Patronal Festivities
Navacerrada dedicates its September patronal festivities to the Nativity of Our Lady. Peñas, families and visitors share religious observances, music, children's events, communal food and bull events.

The festival normally takes place in early September, with 8 September, the Nativity of Our Lady, as its main day. The exact dates and duration are announced for each edition.

Where it is held
Plaza del Doctor Gereda and Paseo and Parque de los Españoles host much of the public programme. The Town Hall is the starting point for street bands and the procession to the bullring, while the parish church is the centre of the religious observances.
Events and traditions
- Opening rocket, proclamation and the entrance of the peñas accompanied by street bands.
- Mass and procession in honour of the Nativity of Our Lady on 8 September.
- Street bands, communal breakfasts and aperitifs, and gatherings arranged by the peñas.
- Street bull runs, release of livestock and events in the bullring.
- Children's games, competitions, dances, concerts and fireworks.
A community celebration
The Town Council highlights the part played by associations, peñas, council staff and volunteers in preparing the festivities. The programme brings together year-round residents, people returning for the occasion and visitors to the municipality.
