Rapa das Bestas de Sabucedo 2026 Programme

The Rapa das Bestas de Sabucedo was held from Friday, 3 July to Monday, 6 July 2026. The programme brought together the search and downloading of the bands, three jobs and the RapaSons musical programming.

Notice: The programme suffered schedule adjustments due to a red heat alert. The schedules that follow incorporate the updates published by the organisation for Saturday, Sunday and Monday jobs.

Friday, 3 July 2026

  • 06:30: traditional mass in honour of San Lourenzo, patron saint of Sabucedo, in the church of San Lourenzo.
  • 07:00: departure from O Celeiro to look for the beasts and drive them towards Montouto.
  • 14:00: meeting of the greas in O Peón, approximate time.
  • 17:00: entry of the beasts at the close of O Castelo, approximate time.
  • 20:00: parades of Tralha da Terra de Montes.
  • 22:30: RapaSons 2026 festival in Campo do Medio, with A Banda das Crechas, Swingers do Swing, Gin Toni's and La Sincereza Pinchacumbias.

Saturday 4 July 2026

  • 11:00: A Baixa, collection of the bestas in O Castelo and transfer to the Cataroi closure.
  • 14:00: arrival of the horses to Sabucedo, approximate time.
  • 14:30: Tiruleque, in the Palco da Fonte.
  • 17:00: Os Tres Pesos, in the Palco da Fonte.
  • 19:00: opening of the work doors, schedule updated due to the heat alert.
  • 19:30: Tequexetéldere, on the job.
  • 19:45: descent of the beasts from Cataroi to work through the streets of Sabucedo.
  • 20:00-22:00: primer curro.
  • 21:45: Mekánika Rolling Band, parade from work to the Teleclub.
  • 22:00: Popular festival in Campo do Medio with Olympus and La Mecánica.

Sunday 5 July 2026

  • 10:00: opening of the work doors, schedule updated due to the heat alert.
  • 10:30: Laura Lamontagne, on the job.
  • 10:45: descent of the beasts from Cataroi to the work.
  • 11:00-13:00: segundo curro.
  • 13:00: Troupe Festicultores, parades from work to the Teleclub.
  • 17:00: Pandereteiras do Val de Quireza, at the Palco da Fonte festival.
  • 18:30: Cé Orquestra Pantasma, at the Palco da Fonte.
  • 19:30: Reynier Aldana, in the Palco da Fonte.
  • 23:00: popular festival in Campo do Medio with América S.L. and Duo Prisma.

Monday 6 July 2026

  • 10:00: opening of the work doors, schedule updated due to the heat alert.
  • 10:45: descent of the beasts from Cataroi to the work.
