The La Foto del Rosario competition runs throughout the festivities. Inflatables and mini-bull games take place at the temporary bullring from 4.30 to 8.30 pm, followed by José Bevia’s comedy show in Plaza del Corral at 10 pm. The purple-point support service opens in Plaza del Carmen from 11 pm to 3 am. At midnight the peñas’ opening address and chupinazo take place in Plaza Mayor, followed by the Toro de Fuego. From 12.30 am there are a mobile disco, retro party and music sessions at several peña venues.

Radio Espinosa Merindades broadcasts from Plaza Somovilla from 11 am to 2 pm. A children’s drawing competition runs from 12.30 to 1.30 pm and traditional sports from 5 to 7 pm. Solemn vespers and the floral offering begin at 6 pm in the sanctuary; at 8 pm Plaza Mayor welcomes the local representatives and opening speaker for tributes, youth representatives, the address, anthems and the chupinazo. Street bands, cabezudos and fireworks follow. The evening includes the purple point, a charanga, a night release of heifers at 12.05 am, the Jamaica orchestra at 12.30 am and peña events into the early hours.

A second-hand market opens at Los Pradillos from 10 am to 3 pm. Local representatives gather at 10.30 am and Mass at 11 am is followed by the procession from the sanctuary to Santa Cruz. Peña parades, dancing and the Municipal Band concert begin in Plaza Mayor from 1 pm. The peñas gather at 4.45 pm and the bullfighting event starts at 5.30 pm; karaoke and a children’s art workshop start in Plaza del Corral at 6 pm. Orquesta La Jungla performs at 9.30 pm, fireworks are at midnight and the verbena continues at 12.30 am.

Mass for deceased residents is held at noon in Santa Cruz. The peña parade and Municipal Band street procession begin at 1 pm, followed by the band’s concert in Somovilla at 1.30 pm. Children’s activities run from 4.30 pm; the peñas march to the bullring at 4.45 pm and the novillada begins at 5.30 pm. Music starts at 5.30 pm, dancing with La Rebelión at 9.30 pm, fireworks at midnight and the verbena at 12.30 am.

Peñas and Married Couples Day begins at 1 pm with Fonso Blanco in Somovilla and a peña parade until 3 pm. The bullring procession gathers at 4.45 pm and the Grand Prix with heifers begins at 5.30 pm. A thanksgiving Mass is held at San Pedro at 7.30 pm; La Fuerza performs in Plaza Mayor at 9 pm and returns for the midnight verbena.

A competition about Medina locations is held in Plaza Mayor from 5 to 7 pm. Peña 2000 y Pico hosts an evening music session from 6 to 10 pm, and the play-back and karaoke contest starts in Somovilla at 8 pm. The purple point opens from 11 pm to 3 am; Dinamita Rock begins in Plaza del Corral at 11.30 pm. At midnight there is a Toro de Fuego and parties at peña venues, followed by late-night music sessions.

Tic Tac provides children’s entertainment in Somovilla at 1 pm and the peñas parade until 3 pm. The mus and brisca card championships run in Plaza del Corral from 4.30 to 9 pm; the children’s livestock area opens at the bullring at 6 pm and Trompicón’s evening session runs from 6 to 11 pm. Orquesta La Reina Show performs at 9 pm, the Morcilla Rally starts at 10 pm and the verbena begins at 12.30 am, alongside further sessions at peña venues.

A heifer release begins at 8 am. From 1 pm there is a peña parade and TUMOVIDA perform in Somovilla. Children’s inflatables open from 4.30 to 8.30 pm; the peñas leave for the bullring at 4.45 pm and the rejoneo event starts at 5.30 pm. It is followed by heifers, the burning of neckerchiefs, Toro de Fuego and a parade. The electro-charanga sets off at 6 pm, La Resistencia performs at 9 pm, the Funeral del Bufi procession at 11 pm and the final firecracker display with hot chocolate at 11.30 pm.

The Municipal Band sets off at 11.45 am towards Santa Cruz, where Mass and the Virgen del Pilar procession begin at noon. Inflatables, games and hot chocolate are available in Somovilla from noon to 2 pm and from 5 to 8 pm. The verbena begins at midnight in Plaza del Alcázar and a night charanga tours the streets from midnight to 2 am.
