Local festivals in Paiporta
The Festes de Sant Roc are usually celebrated over several days in August and bring together popular culture, music and neighbourhood life. Their distinctive traditions include the Dansà de Sant Roc, the correfoc fire run, the Festa del Melonet, the parade, a local stew competition and the Cremà del Gos.
Fallas
In March, Paiporta’s Fallas committees fill the neighbourhoods with monuments, fireworks and music. The Ninot Exhibition and the Crida open the festive calendar, followed by street parades, the Cavalcada del Ninot, the flower offering and the cremà.
Other celebrations
The local calendar preserves celebrations organised by associations, clavarios and religious brotherhoods, including the Puríssima, Mare de Déu d’Agost, Crist, Cor de Jesús, Sant Ramon and Mare de Déu dels Desemparats.
