Local festivals in Carcaixent

The patronal festivities are usually celebrated in October in honour of San Bonifacio Mártir and the Virgen de Aguas Vivas, whose principal feast days are the 14th and 16th. The Troballa recalls the discovery of the image, while processions, music, pyrotechnics and association activities fill the town centre.

Other celebrations: humorous rally and Fallas

The humorous rally opens the October cycle with challenges inspired by Carcaixent's history and heritage and a final performance by each team. In March, the Fallas commissions celebrate the plantà, street processions, offering, presentations and cremà, supported by deeply rooted participation across the town.

Modernist Fair

The Modernist Fair transforms the streets for a weekend in June and recreates the prosperity that orange growing brought to Carcaixent between the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Period clothing, heritage visits, workshops, exhibitions, music and re-enactments bring this legacy to the public.
