Local festivals in Teulada

The Sant Vicent Ferrer patronal festivities are usually celebrated in April, around the Monday after Easter, and last several days. Teulada combines religious events dedicated to the patron with the ceremonial entry of myrtle, music, open-air dancing, floats and participation by local festival committees and groups; the Vincentian tradition also extends to the pilgrimage and festivities at the Font Santa hermitage.

Moraira Moors and Christians

In June, Moorish and Christian companies fill Moraira for more than a week. The landing on l'Ampolla beach, embassies and staged conquests beside the castle, band parades and the gala procession shape a celebration organised by the Junta Central with support from the Town Council.

Other celebrations: Moraira and Moscatel

In July, Moraira honours the Virgen de los Desamparados and the Virgen del Carmen with land and sea processions, dancing, music and fireworks over the water around the castle, harbour and coast. In August, the Moscatel Festival brings carts, grapes, wine, dancing and food to Teulada in celebration of the municipality's wine-growing tradition.
