Local festivals in Aranguren

The Aranguren Valley festival calendar is shared among its settlements. Mutilva's festivities are usually celebrated over several days in June, followed by Zolina, Aranguren, Labiano and Tajonar, with support from the Town Council and Culture and Festivals Service and events organised by local committees.

Giants, pipers and communal meals

Opening rockets, dawn music and parades by the Valley's pipers, band and Giants and Big-Heads troupe are shared features. Mutilva centres events on its squares; Aranguren preserves musical rounds, pelota, mus card competitions, calderete stews and communal dinners around the local society.

Other celebrations: village festivals and the Lakidain pilgrimage

Zolina, Labiano and Tajonar complete the summer with music, sport, neighbourhood meals and children's activities. In autumn, the Lakidain pilgrimage extends the valley's traditional calendar and brings the community together around its rural heritage.
