Local festivals in Velilla de San Antonio

The Patronal Festivities honouring the Santísimo Cristo de la Paciencia are usually celebrated over several days in late September. Devotion to the patron is combined with neighbourhood gatherings, music, cultural activities and popular festivities organised by the council and the municipality's associations.

Other celebrations: Tortilla Day and Carnival

On the Thursday before Lent, families celebrate Tortilla Day with an outing to the countryside and a shared meal centred on this dish. Carnival completes the winter festivities with costumes, comparsas, street parades and family activities that bring celebrations to the town's streets and public spaces.
