Local festivals in Torrejón de Ardoz

The June Fiestas Populares are Torrejón de Ardoz's main celebration. The City Council, clubs and associations, performers, fairground operators and residents occupy the Recinto Ferial y de Peñas, the concert venue and Plaza Mayor for several days.

Usual celebration

The festivities are usually held around the third weekend in June. The proclamation, parade of peñas, booths, concerts, children's activities, bull runs, bullfighting fair, Noche del Fuego and Family Day make up a programme lasting almost a week across several municipal venues.

Programme for 2026

The 2026 edition ran from 19 to 24 June. The official programme brought concerts by El Chojin, Saiko, Leire Martínez, David Bisbal, Tiësto and Hombres G to the concert venue; Plaza Mayor hosted the proclamation and Noches en la Plaza. The parade of peñas, daytime fair, children's activities, bullfighting fair and Noche del Fuego completed the festivities.

Local public holidays in 2026

The Local Government Board set Monday 22 and Tuesday 23 June as the city's two non-working local public holidays, both coinciding with the Fiestas Populares. These working-calendar holidays did not, by themselves, cover the entire festival period.

Other cultural events

The patronal festivities were scheduled for 2 to 4 October 2026. Carnival and Mágicas Navidades complete the city's festival and cultural calendar at other times of the year.
