The Romaría Etnográfica Raigame, Ramallosa, Sábado de Piñata and the San Roque festivities show the variety of celebrations held in the town and its parishes. Vilanova dos Infantes, Praza Maior, the historic centre and the Baroque Cloister are regular settings.
Usual celebration
Raigame takes place on 17 May, Galician Literature Day, and revives traditional crafts and customs in Vilanova dos Infantes. Ramallosa is held on the first weekend of August, while San Roque brings patronal events, music and community gatherings to Celanova in the middle of the month.
