Usual celebration
The Festa Major de Salt is held between the third and fourth week of July, around Sant Jaume on 25 July. Its opening address, giants, street parades, the Marrecs de Salt, communal street dinners and barracas run by local groups bring the festivities to the town's squares and the Era de Cal Cigarro. The Town Hall, associations, residents and cultural groups participate.
Other cultural events
Giant-figure gatherings, the casteller day, correfoc, habaneras and Salt en Dansa create a cultural programme that combines tradition, music and local participation.
