The Calonge summer main festival is usually celebrated over several days around the second weekend in July. Plaça Major, the castle and its gardens, Sant Martí church and the sports area host an opening speech, giants and bestiary figures, parades, display dances, solemn mass, sardanes, music, festival marquees and fireworks. Popular-culture groups, sports and cultural associations, the parish, Town Council and residents organise and take part in the events.
Sant Antoni main festival
At the end of August and beginning of September, Sant Antoni holds several days of summer festivities. The beach, breakwaters, the Collet area and local squares host havaneres, sardanes, dancing, concerts, children's activities and gatherings involving associations, traders, musical groups, families and residents of the maritime settlement.

In November, around Sant Martí's day, Calonge combines its autumn main festival with the New Wine Festival.
