The Festa Major is usually celebrated over four days in early September. The proclamation and street parade open celebrations featuring music, family activities and a strong presence of popular culture across different parts of the town.
Diables, giants and castellers
The Colla de Diables takes part in the correfoc fire run and street parades, while the giants Andreu and Quimeta and the Agrupació Cultural Aigüestoses lead gatherings and dances. The Castellers de l’Adroc, sardana dancing and the closing firework display complete its most recognisable traditional events.
Other celebrations: Winter Festa Major
Around 30 November, the feast of Sant Andreu combines the celebration at the parish church with a correfoc, sardana dancing and gatherings of giants. The Town Council and local associations maintain the popular character of this winter occasion.
