The Festa Major del Prat occupies four days at the end of September and brings together the popular culture ceremony with music, fair, sport and activities of local entities.
Usual celebration
The municipal portal describes a party from Friday to Monday. The Toc d'Inici, the Tres Trons, the Cercavila d'Inici, the Esclat and the proclamation open the celebration in the Plaza de la Vila; Then come concerts, giants and bigheads, devils, human towers, batoners, sardanas, sports, fairs and family events. The Final Cercavila and fireworks lead the giants Rotllà and Griselda back to the Town Hall. The giants have been documented at the festival since 1925 and Rotllà and Griselda premiered in 1954.
