Local festivals in Caudete

The Patronal Festival of Moors and Christians in honour of Nuestra Señora la Virgen de Gracia is Caudete's most representative celebration. It is usually held from 6 to 10 September, has more than four centuries of history and is recognised as a Festival of Regional Tourist Interest.

Usual celebration

The Guerreros, Mirenos, Tarik, Moros and La Antigua comparsas take part in La Entrada, La Enhorabuena, mock battles with gunpowder, the Episodios Caudetanos, flag displays and the rueda de volantes. Events pass through Plaza de la Iglesia, Plaza del Carmen, the Town Hall, Plaza Nueva, La Cruz, Santa Catalina church and the Sanctuary of Nuestra Señora de Gracia.

Other events

Bailes del Niño, San Blas and San Antonio Abad complete the calendar with music, religious events and community gatherings organised at different venues in the town centre.
