The Feria y Fiestas de Nuestra Señora de San Lorenzo is Valladolid's major September celebration. Plaza Mayor, Campo Grande, Las Moreras, the neighbourhoods and the fairground host music, peñas, food, family activities and the events dedicated to the patron saint.

Usual celebration and other events

San Lorenzo is usually celebrated over about ten days around 8 September, with an opening address, floral offering, Mass, procession, concerts, giants and big-head figures, open-air dances and a fair. In spring, the San Pedro Regalado festivities honour the city's patron around 13 May.
