Local festivals in Segovia
The San Juan and San Pedro Fair and Festivals form the main part of Segovia's festive calendar in late June. The city also celebrates San Frutos, Segovia's patron saint, in October, alongside neighbourhood festivities and cultural events throughout the year.
Usual celebration
San Juan and San Pedro are usually celebrated from 23 to 30 June. Events spread across Plaza Mayor, Azoguejo, Paseo del Salón, the fairground and several neighbourhoods, with the San Juan bonfire, giants and big-head figures, music, theatre, sporting activities and the San Pedro day. The City Council and Turismo de Segovia organise the events with local clubs, associations and groups.
Other events in the cultural programme
San Frutos extends the festive calendar into October, while Segovia Picnic Day opens the June programme before San Juan and San Pedro with activities at Pradera de San Marcos.
