The San Ginés festivities, honouring Arrecife's patron saint, are the Lanzarote capital's main celebration and have 25 August as their central date.

Usual celebration

San Ginés brings together the City Council, music and folklore groups, associations, families and visitors over several days. Its main venues are Parque José Ramírez Cerdá, Parque Islas Canarias, Avenida de Vargas, the fairground and the Charco area, hosting the opening speech, traditional stalls, concerts, dances, sports and events connected with maritime culture.
