Usual celebration
The town celebrates San José on 19 March and San Martín on 11 November. Festivals extend across the parish villages: Vega de Zarza, Mousende, Vilanova, A Garda and Barredo celebrate San Diego, while Aguillón honours San Blas and San Luis. Corpus Christi rotates each year between different villages or groups of villages, with residents and local associations involved in the celebrations.
