Usual celebration
San Xuan is the patronal festival of Mieres del Camín, with its principal day on 24 June. The danza prima, decorated fountains, the cargüeñá procession and the midnight bonfire in the Town Hall square connect the celebration with fire, water and solstice traditions. Concerts, street music, choirs, dance groups and parades complete the festival.
