Local festivals in Guillena
The Virgen de la Granada Popular and Patronal Festivities are usually celebrated around 8 September. Guillena's patron is carried in procession through the town, while religious observances, the fair, music and neighbourhood gatherings mark the end of summer.

The festival calendar brings together the municipality's three communities. Torre de la Reina holds its fair and San Isidro Labrador procession in May. Las Pajanosas honours the Virgen del Rosario in late August and maintains a pilgrimage to La Zahurdilla park on the first Saturday in October.
Holy Week and the Pilar pilgrimage
Holy Week passes through Guillena with the Vera Cruz and Candelaria confraternities, whose Easter Sunday procession is a particularly deep-rooted occasion. On 12 October, the Pilar neighbourhood takes its pilgrimage to El Gergal park, organised by residents with council support.
