The Fair and Patronal Festivities are usually celebrated in September in honour of Nuestra Señora de los Dolores Coronada. The fairground brings together marquees, decorative lighting, music, dancing and neighbourhood gatherings over several days.
A fair rooted in the town
The fair began in 1942 as a meeting place for the people of Camas. The Town Council regulates the marquees and services at the fairground, while the cultural and festive programme also extends into the town’s streets.
Other events and local participation
The opening speech and switching-on of the lights begin the festive cycle. Local organisations, Carnival groups and cultural associations regularly take part in street parades, performances and family activities.
